I was browsing airliners.net forum when I found this thread..OMG!!this really shocking me..another great carrier with such a beautiful livery on its fleet is suspending route from their home base to KUL..what a curse!!
last week ive read that Royal Jordanian will decrease frequency to certain cities regarding high fuel price and competition with other middle east airline, and unfortunately KUL was included among that cities...
it was a sad news..lesser RJ appearance in KUL..n no more golden falcon tail of GF goin to b seen here..and I doubt UM gonna fly its only 767-200ER routing HRE-KUL-PEK anymore after this (since ive read somewhere bout their financial crisis) . Their another 762ER already being impounded at LGW few months back.
Still ingat masa Gulf Air guna 77W lease from Jet Airways for their BAH-KUL route. And I know that BAH-KUL-BAH pnya load factor xde la cket..about 80-90% full per flight..n GF ngah rajin updating their fleet with few A333 to come by next year n 787 for their expansion plan..berita yg dorang nak suspend KUL memang mengejutkan.
GF antara airline yg setia serve KUL for many decades.from L1011 era..to 767-300ER,A340-300, A330-200 n 777-300ER (leased from 9W) ,,we gonna miss ur presence in KUL dear GF!!
hoh..i know..EK,QR,EY akan amek ksempatan nak increase capacity ke KUL..hope KU,IY n WY akan terus bertahan...
